Gameplay programmer

Far From Home S.A. is a Wrocław based studio made with experienced gamedev enthusiasts (working previously on games like Dying Light, Call of Juarez, Divinity: Original Sin, The Medium), which specialise in action games with narrative elements.

We’re working on a new sci-fi ruined Earth themed game, called Project Oxygen, for a PC and major next gen consoles, planned for Early Access in the middle of 2022.

What we expect:

  • you can design, implement and maintain gameplay mechanics
  • you debug, fix bugs, profile and optimise your own code
  • you cooperate with the team on creating game vision
  • you cooperate with art team

What we require:

  • experience in game development industry as a Gameplay Programmer
  • practical knowledge of UE4
  • practical knowledge of C++
  • practical knowledge of UE Blueprints
  • understanding players needs while designing gameplay mechanics
  • quick prototyping skills
  • good communication skills
  • mature and independent approach to work

What additional skills we value:

  • knowledge of materials and FXs 
  • practical knowledge of Gameplay Ability System
  • previous experience with coding network in UE 4
